Sound familiar? What was once largely undisputed is now largely counted as foolishness: that the Lord formed the earth and all creatures which live upon it. While the Bible tells us that God created us in His own image, it was Charles Darwin (author of The Origin of Species) who said, "We must, however, acknowledge as it seems to me, that a man with all his noble qualities...still bears in his bodily frame the indelible stamp of his lowly origin." Lowly origin? Ironically, the great "scientist" Charles Darwin only had a degree in one subject... Theology. So why is this theologian regarded so highly by the atheistic community? Because he told them what they wanted to hear. With or without evidence, evolution will continue to be believed so long as there are those who are desperate to believe it. Ironically, Charles Darwin also once said, "False facts are highly injurious to the progress of science, for they often endure long". How many false facts are used to support evolution in public school science textbooks? The list is endless. While not all evidences for evolution can be falsified, the fact that so many long disproven lies are still purported as 'evidence' by the evolutionist community suggests that they have something to hide. What are they trying to hide? Perhaps the lack of any of the thousands of 'transitional species' that Darwin promised would be found...In Christ's Love,

I was starting to leave a comment when I noticed you can't even seem to tolerate uncapitalized spellings of GOD and JESUS. Fittingly enough, my comment regards your remarkable unwillingness to consider any evidence that doesn't already fit your perspective. In fact, Darwin had a particularly hard time communicating his ideas because, quite to the contrary of what you state, nobody wanted to hear what he was saying. People did not want to hear they were descended from apes (think about it -- who would?), and it took an overwhelming body of evidence to convince other scientists. I also don't know where you get your information, but check with actual scientists (even Christian scientists) to find that there are indeed obvious similarities and transitions between species that show our common history. Take a look at a "regular" fish, a lungfish, and a salamander. It's no coincidence that the lungfish looks like a mix between the other two.
Darwin's degree was in Theology because a degree in the clergy was palatable to his father. It's also unremarkable for scientists of his day; very few people obtained degrees in those days, and religious study was much more common among those who did. This includes Gregor Mendel, a *priest* who discovered the fundamental laws of genetics.

Believe that if you wish, perhaps you feel the need to see things that way because you can't accept the possibility that someone may have actually examined the evidence and drawn a different conclusion than you did.

If it's such a perfect missing link as you suggest, then perhaps you should be contacting the tabloids instead of myself, after all, I'm sure I'll be hearing about this on the news soon.
